Officially the best place to buy rosé

We were named specialist wine merchant of the year for rosé at the International Wine Challenge 2021, so you can rest assured whichever pink tipple you choose it’ll be top quality and truly tasty.

Try our Quintessence Méditerranée, a beautiful pale rosé that’s wonderfully fresh, with aromas of berries, citrus and peach that complement fish dishes or summer salads.

For a truly special wine to sip as an aperitif or with food, try our côtes de provence sainte-victoire. Exclusively blended for M&S by expert winemaker Belinda Kleinig, it’s sourced from the premium Provence sub-region of Sainte-Victoire. With a dry, crisp style, aromatic summer fruit flavours and lively acidity, it works with everything from pasta to seafood.

Finally, if you’re looking for a classic fruity rosé, opt for our côtes du rhône rosé, which is amazingly vibrant with flavours of rosehips, wild berries and cherries. Serve it lightly chilled at your next picnic or with grilled chicken dishes.

What to eat with rosé

The beautiful berry flavours of rosé pair perfectly with seafood and subtle spice. Rustle up a quick but impressive prawn bruschetta by toasting or grilling sourdough, then drizzling over some olive oil and rubbing with garlic. Top with garlic and parsley prawns, lemon zest, sliced chilli, spring onions, fresh parsley and another drizzle of olive oil. Or match one of our prosecco rosés with a salad that teams Italian burrata with sweet heritage tomatoes and a homemade pesto dressing.

Shake up a rosé cocktail

Serve up a refreshing rosé cocktail in the garden with these delicious ideas.

Rosé spritz (left)
Fill a glass with ice and top up with two parts aperitivo liqueur, two parts Coteaux Varois en provence rosé, and a squeeze of lime. Mix, then top up with soda. Garnish with fresh lime wedges.

Strawberry cooler (centre)
In a food processor or with a hand blender, muddle a generous handful of hulled strawberries (our Red Diamond variety work brilliantly) with a tablespoon of sugar. Spoon a little into champagne coupes, then top up with sparkling la dame en Rose. This is lovely served as an aperitif on a warm day.

Grapefruit rosé fizz (right)
Combine one part vermouth and one part gin with two parts la dame en rose and two parts fresh grapefruit juice. Pour into a tumbler filled with ice and garnish with fresh rosemary and a wedge of grapefruit. Serve as a new twist on a negroni.
